Virtual Tour App (VTA) begins production on Circuit of the Americas’ interactive virtual tour. The newly constructed Circuit of The Americas (COTA) track in Austin, Texas hosts the annual F1 race and several other premier racing events throughout the year. VTA is creating extensive track and facility tours for Circuit of the Americas. The COTA Virtual Tour will provide race fans with the opportunity to experience a driver’s perspective by providing multiple points-of-view from the track. Fans will also be able to view the COTA track from different places in the grandstands, helping them choose the best possible seats. VTA’s new virtual tour technology will allow Circuit of The Americas to update the COTA tour with embedded video from future events.
Due to the recent success of drivers like McLaren’s Sergio “Checo” Perez, the Circuit of The Americas is increasingly attracting attention from Latin American race fans. With VTA’s technology, the COTA Virtual Tour will have the capability of embedding voice narration in Spanish, English, and other languages to cater to Circuit of The Americas’ international audience. There are plans to tie in the COTA Virtual Tour with another VTA project of the Austin Airport Hilton which will allow international travelers to “plan before they land”.
